Virus, Spyware & Malware Removal

Approximately 80% of our business is virus/malware/spyware removal which is good for business but a fact that is very damaging to the internet community.

Malware

Malware is simply short for malicious software. It is software designed to infiltrate a computer system without the owner's informed consent. The expression is a general term used by computer professionals to mean a variety of forms of hostile, intrusive, or annoying software or programme code.

Virus

A virus is a programme or code that causes harm or inconvenience to a computer. Viruses are usually made to look like games; movies; pictures or MP3 files.

Worm

Worms are viruses that multiply themselves. They often send themselves to other computers through emails to cause even more trouble.

Trojan Horse

A Trojan horse does not multiply to create more copies of itself. They sit in wait until they are ready to strike depending upon what their programming tells them to do.

Spyware

Spyware is a type of malware that is installed on computers and collects little bits of information at a time about users without their knowledge. You generally do not know it's there and you blindly enter passwords; bank details; personal information etc which is collected by the spyware and passed on for profit.
